Ok, i know not every one has all these books, but let's just list the books/essays/poems/writings... that we each wanted to read and see where we overlap ;-)
I want to read something from Hawai'i, such as:
Haunani-Kay Trask, From a Native Daughter: Colonialism and Sovereignty in Hawaii
Noenoe K.Silva, Aloha Betrayed: Native Hawaiian Resistance to American Colonialism
Others:
Sven Lindvist, Exterminate All The Brutes & A History of Bombing (both are in the form of very short chapters)
Dipesh Chakrabarty, Habitations of Modernity
We can also keep going back to his famous Provincializing Europe, I think it's always an inexhaustible source for adda :-))
FILMS!!!!!!!! just wanted to say that we can also discuss films at some point. on the one hand, it could be an entirely new club: watch films from global cinemas and discuss them. on the other hand, we can also discuss films that we've all watched or all wanted to watch in the middle of all these wonderful theories and poems ;-)

i hope people don't feel overwhelmed by this book list (and it'll only be growing). this list is more like sharing with others what each of us is highly interested in reading, but for the book club (at least in the foreseeable future lol), let's just take it slow: one article/short essay by one ;-))
